Check out the the ultrasound...
That's right, there are two. We are having twins. Can you see baby A and Baby B? Sorry we didn't get a chance to call everyone, so this is the fastest and fairest way to get out the exciting news. We already got on the ball planning, but then we got our next assignment, which changes things a little bit. We will be heading off to Turkey for two years. That's right, our lives are completely changing in the next few months. Join us in the adventure! It should be great fun with the Lord at our side.

Under the Weather for Us All
Mommy was feeling a little under the weather, but the munchkin still wants his lovin'. So Mommy crawled on the floor and let him get cozy in her lap to talk on the 'phone'. Elijah has discovered that the phone in Mommy and Daddy's room is not longer connected to the wall, so it travels the house now while he talks to his friends. He has some crazy obsession with the phone. Maybe he realizes the little box called the phone is his family, or at least the connection to their voices.
Check it Out
My college English professor-turned cycling partner and friend- married a great guy who just happens to be into jewelry and sales. Check out his new website for a variety of gifts or just perusal at your leisure. They have some amazing prices for amazing products! If you ever need (or just want) some new jewelry he is the guy to get it from. If you want to contact him, let me know and I'll use my connections for your benefit! Anyhow, he is at http://oc-jewelry.com/ . You can also refer to my new addition to the blog under "Cool Sites" in the right-hand column.

A night Out
As most of you know Elijah loves to play with any kind of ball, even if they are too big to carry. Elijah had his first bowling experience last week. He decided he was a big boy who could carry the ball all by himself and he did.
He was an excellent bowler and was not too far behind Mom and Dad's scores.

Each picture is worth a 1000 words
I had this post set up and ready to go when Chris realized we had copies of one of the pictures in an earlier post, so I had to rewrite my thoughts. I did include them at the end of this post though so they will make more sense for the pictures following the thoughts.
As seen in previous pictures, Elijah loves to wear Mommy and Daddy's shoes. He discovered Daddy's boots and climbed on in. They were so heavy he could barely lift his feet off the ground, but he managed to make his way to Daddy for some great laughs. I just discovered something that is so telling about our pictures. Elijah is usually eating. That tells me two things: 1. he eats A LOT 2. That is the only free time we have to take pictures because he is so busy! Plus, there is rarely a dull moment when Elijah is eating. He is usually so animated as you can see.

What's new?
Say "Cheese". It's his new thing. He loves being a ham.
Chris was busy cleaning the kitchen when he noticed the worrysome quiet. He went to check to see what Elijah was getting into and found this pleasant sight. Elijah absolutely loves "boops".
Elijah was being very helpful today. He was helping mommy do the laundry. While I was foldong he was removing all the clothes from the dryer and handing them to me! After we finished, I took the folded laundry to our bedroom and a few seconds later I heard him talking, but it sounded like he was in the bathroom because I heard an echo. I went to see what he was up to when I saw that he had found a new place to play.
